Obviously, the person writing the article does not understand that the issue is NOT "office culture" but the tremendous lack of productivity that stems from having a team spread out in many different places and only communicating transactionally via zoom. She wants her "comfort" zone at home, doing what she wants , when she wants and not being bothered by "meetings" (how could you be bothered by getting together to discuss issues! how stupid, right). The fact of the matter is: generalize WFM does not work. it is unproductive and very stressful. And by the way, there is a side benefit to being able to go to an office...it provides a certain form of job secutiry. Now it you tell me that your job can be done remotely, then I will look for opportunities to find the best person at the best cost who cannot commute to work and that may not necessarily be you...
