Quote "mere mortals". Let alone the fact that Gates had a lot of help from his...mother at the inception of MS. Let alone the fact Steve Jobs was a world class jerk! Musk is in a class all to himself, having persuaded most of the tech universe that he is a "genius" (sic), and a "master of the universe"...He did not invent electric cars or rockers, unless I am mistaken. And his two current ventures are a - losing money like there is no tomorrow and b - only exist because of US govt contract (to launch "historic" rockets that do pretty much the same thing we have done for say...60 years. He got rich doing all of this. Which is the sad point of this article. As for the 4 traits listed in it: I wish it was true. These days, the deification of founders has reached a point where even crooks are put on the pedestal (until they are toppled like Saddam's statues) [WeWork?]. I said deification, I could have said trumpification because there is no difference. Meanwhile real founders of real companies building real products for real problems of real customers are completely ignored!
